Speicher XI was constructed in 1910 to 1912 and was restored 90 years later as a monumental structure at the former Bremen Sea Port by the firm Dr Hübotter Wohnungsbau. It is a 400m-long building which is as long as the Obernstraße, the main shopping street of Bremen. Speicher XI is the longest and most intensively used building in the Hanseatic City of Bremen.
