Maritime Interreg Conferrence

May 27-28, 2009

Gothenburg, Sweden

The two day conference provided the opportunity to learn and exchange views about cooperation across our joint seas, the two programmes and their maritime aspects. Innovation, sustainable environmental management and accessibility were the key elements of the conference. The conference on International Maritime Cooperation was jointly hosted by the Interreg IVa and IVb Secretariats.

The NMU partner Yakov Boglev from the Edingburgh Napier University gave a keynote presentation on the topic of "Challenges in Maritime Policy, the Environmental Sphere and Training in the Sector".
