The Blue Conference is an annual Danish conference on research in the maritime industry. Participants come from universities, nautical schools, the shipping and maritime industries and the maritime administration. It’s a bilingual conference. Some presentations take place in Danish, others in English.

This year the topics are:

Maritime India and China
Ports and short sea shipping
Future business models in the making
Corporate Social Responsibility

The key-note speakers will be:

> Andreas Nordseth, Director at Søfartsstyrelsen
> Knud Pontoppidan, Nordic Tankers, Den Danske Maritime Fond og TTClub Bermuda

This year's hosting organization is Maritime Development Center of Europe.

Our Danish NMU partners Lisa Lolorna, Jacob Kronbak, Elin Dorthea Kragesand Hansen from the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) and Thomas Pawlik from Hochshule Bremen will be present at the conference.
