Our NMU partners from the Universities of Applied Sciences Kiel and Bremen are organising the expert conference “Cold Ironing” in collaboration with the association “Maritime Forum Kiel e.V.”.

Experts will speak about their experiences with Cold Ironing as well as technical, energetic, and political aspects of this process of providing shore-side electrical power.
Erik Fridell from the NMU partner Swedish Environmental Institute will held a presentation about ship emissions.
