Invitation to new teaching module: “Maritime Transport & the Environment”

At November 9 and 10 the NMU invites personnel with a shipping background to the teaching module “Maritime Transport & the Environment” at the University of Applied Sciences Bremen.
The module provides the participants with a broad overview of environmental impacts from shipping. Especially the emissions of noxious gases and its effects on the climate will be dealt with.
Lectures will be held in English by Adjunct Professor Dr Erik Fridell, Swedish Environmental Research Institute, and Susanne Neumann, University of Applied Sciences Bremen, Centre of Maritime Studies. Participation is free.
