Two more organisations join the NMU network

The profound knowledge of education needs in the maritime business sector enables the University of the Basque Country (EHU/UPV) with its higher technical school of nautical studies to give strategic advice on the development of the NMU e-learning modules.

As shipping is a key aspect of the Norwegian industry, settlement and employment, the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association (NSA) will support the NMU.
The NSA has about 160 members from the tank and bulk transport sector, the short sea sector and offshore activities. One of its main objectives is to ensure that members have access to sufficient numbers of highly qualified employees at the sea and ashore. This fits perfectly to the aim of NMU: granting a rounded education of future maritime professionals.
