Conference: Reducing the Impact of Emissions from Aviation and Shipping

On 9th September 2011 NMU lead partner Transport Research Institute and the Royal Meteorological Society (Scottish section) organises the conference on how to reduce the impact of emissions from aviation and shipping. The conference shows the strength of the NMU network concerning environmental issues.
This one-day event will bring together representatives of the aviation and shipping industries and climate change researchers to exchange their views. On of the keynote speakers is NMU project member Erik Fridell.
An earlybird registration fee of £50 (plus VAT) is available for registrations before 30th June 2011 (£70 plus VAT after this), and a discounted fee of £30 plus VAT is available to students and Royal Meteorological Society members.
The conference takes place in City Chambers, High Street, Edinburgh.
