Farewell to Gordon Wilmsmeier
Written by Gesine Stück | Monday, 01 August 2011 |
NMU project leader Gordon Wilmsmeier, from the Transport Research Institute (TRI), Edinburgh Napier University, moved on from the NMU project as of July 15th to take up a new post at the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean in Santiago.
As one of the initiators and main promoters of the NMU project, Gordon contributed to the project’s success and provided it with a lot of inspiration. NMU benefited from his strong commitment and his in-depth expert knowledge.
Although leaving Europe, he will continue supporting the NMU project and will also spread the word about our project in Latin America.
All NMU project partners would like to thank Gordon for his dedication to the project and wish him all the best in his new position.
Kevin Cullinane and Yakov Boglev, both from TRI, will assure the project’s continuity until a successor is found.
