EUROPEAN MARITIME EDUCATION & TRAINING CONFERENCE
The European Maritime Education & Training conference was held in the historic port city of Kirkwall, capital of the Orkney Isles, on Friday 30 May, 2008. The event was jointly organized by
- the EC Interreg IVB North Sea Programme NORTHERN MARITIME UNIVERSITY (NMU) project; and,
- the EC Leonardo da Vinci Programme INTERNATIONAL MARINE ENVIRONMENT CERTIFICATE (IMEC).
The event attracted delegates from 13 countries, bringing together experts from industry, academia and government bodies.
